August Rush
I used to play guitar everyday. I am really not a particularly good guitar player, but I have a deep appreciation for those who play well. I was most impressed with the musicianship on this video. So much so that I looked up the musician responsible for this guitar track. Her name is Kaki King. I haven’t heard her music before but I certainly intend to give her a listen.
Another guitarist that reminded me of the playing heard in August Rush was Michael Hedges. He was amazing guitarist that tragically died in a car accident.

The things Michael Hedges could do with the guitar blew me away. I remember in college listening to a buddy play his “Road to Return” album. He was very talented and unique.
