Last Sunday, HBO started a new mini-series, John Adams, with Paul Giamatti and Laura Linney.
I realize there are millions of people that would rather watch Gene Simmons Family Jewels. I just don’t fall into that category.
John Adams has A LOT going for it. The actors are first-rate. Tom Hanks is the executive producer, and, traditionally, I like period pieces in film (I really enjoyed the HBO mini-series, Rome).
If you get HBO and cannot watch as it airs, I recommend setting your DVR to record the show in high definition or watch it on demand in standard definition. Yes, you should be able to watch episodes 1 and 2 On Demand.
