NFL Pool 2009
Free NFL Pool I bet you think I forgot about the NFL Pool this year. While it is true that I have had other things on my mind (moving to a new home, selling my other, Jack getting ready for the first grade, trying to figure out a date to get married, etc.), I have been set aside enough energy to defend my title for the 2009 NFL Season. It starts again tonight at 8:30 p.m. with Tennessee traveling to Pittsburgh to play the Super Bowl Champs. The rules are simple. 1. All players must complete... [Read more]
March Madness Has Arrived
Flickr Video March Madness Hey Gang, I hope that you have been watching college basketball because I fully intend to win the DrewGriffin.com March Madness Contest. 2008 NFL Season
Tomorrow starts the 2008 NFL Season. Thank goodness! Once again, I am hosting the NFL Pool so my friends and I can forego giving our email addresses to companies (like ESPN) that will bombard us with marketing emails for the next century. The Giants will not repeat as Super Bowl Champs. Let me take... [Read more]
The Best Race Ever

I could not believe the race I saw last night. I certainly do not follow the sport of swimming on a daily basis (that privilidge is given to the NFL), but I love watching our U.S. Olympic athletes compete on the biggest stage in the world. Last night as I witnessed the American men capture the gold medal for swimming by winning the 4×100 freestyle event, I could not help myself. I stood up and went nuts in my house. I was alone except for my 5 year old son, Jack, sleeping a couple rooms... [Read more]
Buccaneers Draft 2008
I think this is going to be the wildest draft in memory. The Buccaneers will be operating under the possibility that none of their draft picks will be a starter. With the free agent acquisitions to add depth to the roster, the Buccaneers will most likely be taking the best player available on their board. It is unlikely they draft a linebacker, safety or tight end this year, but the rest of the field is wide open. Round 1 Best Bet: Donnie Avery, WR, Houston. PewterReport.com likes Avery because...
