Disney’s A Christmas Carol

American Idol Season 8

Kris Allen/Adam Lambert Just some random thoughts about the Season 8 finale last night. First, I am not an avid fan (not like DeeDee, my fiancee).  I am a casual observer who prefers to watch the Orlando Magic come from 15-point halftime deficit to beat the Cleveland Cavaliers by one. Melody Gardot

Melody Gardot So a couple of months ago, I was checking out CDBaby.com (a site that has CDs from mostly independent artists). I clicked on the “top sellers” link and saw the CD for sale from Melody Gardot. The CD was recommended if you like Norah Jones and Amos Lee. Movie Recommendation: Outsourced

Like many, I have a Netflix subscription.  The great thing about Netflix is I don’t spend money on purchasing DVDs (many of which I cannot watch past the first twenty minutes). August Rush

August Rush I enjoyed watching the movie, August Rush, recently. I am not sure about what “so-called” experts liked or disliked about this movie, but I was incredibly impressed with the music. Fantastic! I used to play guitar everyday. I am really not a particularly good guitar player, but I have a deep appreciation for those who play well.
