Hi Guys and Gals, Without question, I have been judging barbeque more than 25 years.  When I was 17 years old, I took a job with Lupton's Fatman's BBQ as a busboy.  Within in a year, I was cooking on the dinner shift.  Later, I became a catering supervisor and started cooking for hundreds (and occasionally thousands) in one day. This started my education with barbecue.  I continue to educate myself and have built my own smoker. Movie Recommendation: Outsourced

Like many, I have a Netflix subscription.  The great thing about Netflix is I don't spend money on purchasing DVDs (many of which I cannot watch past the first twenty minutes). Anyho', a friend recommended the movie, Outsourced.  I really liked it.  I was actually able to watch the movie by streaming the movie instantly from Netflix. Spartaco Trattoria Italiana Review

Last night, I had dinner at Spartaco Trattoria Italiana in South Tampa. DeeDee and I went about 6pm on a Wednesday, not your busiest time or day of the week. Still, I expected there to be one or two tables taken. It was DeeDee and me and the rest of the staff. What a shame! This place was really good. August Rush

I enjoyed watching the movie, August Rush, recently. I am not sure about what "so-called" experts liked or disliked about this movie, but I was incredibly impressed with the music. Fantastic! I used to play guitar everyday. I am really not a particularly good guitar player, but I have a deep appreciation for those who play well. I was most impressed with the musicianship on this video. So much so that I looked up the musician responsible for this guitar track. Her name is Kaki King. I haven't heard her music before but I certainly intend to give her a listen.
